A Living Wake celebrates the life of someone who
is facing the end of their life through illness or
simply old age, much like a joyful Irish wake, but
with the guest of honour present to enjoy the
occasion.
It is the opportunity for family and friends to gather together and tell the person how much he is loved and to offer thanks for the difference that person has made to their lives.
